New Daily Persistent Headache being poorly understood, we hope to bring interest and possibly demonstrate involved pathways of mechanism for future study. We believe that some patients with chronic migraine, NDPH, fibromyalgia, PTSD, RLS, have more in common with each other than with episodic migrainers. We are open to the idea that NDPH is not a subset of migraine at all and that perhaps it should be studied along with neuroinflammatory conditions triggered by some metabolic dysfunction or frontolimbic network dysfunction.

Funding a visiting research chair
We are interested in partnering with other Migraine/Headache foundations to fund a visiting headache neurologist research chair at a non-headache research institute specializing in Complex Neuro-Immune Inflammatory Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Illness, RLS, PTSD, CRPS, Lyme, Long COVID, etc
We are very interested in researching dysfunction of the Frontolimbic Network, and mechanisms to reset brain networks such as Ibogaine (which is currently illegal in the US) and Psilocybin
